The Chaparral Mexican restaurant is Most Definitely the Best of The Best of All Mexican Restaurants in San Antonio. Their Authentic food is always beautifully presented in a every plate they serve Mr. Carlos is definitely a Legend in his own and Trust Me He definitely deserves to be called The Legend of San Antonio Texas... Job Well Done and I encourage everyone to say Hello to him when you see him at the restaurant because Mr. Carlos is a very kind soul. May GOD BLESS him always...👊🙏

We got a sampler appetizer platter and the fajitas for 2. All the food was great as was the service. We had to add sour cream and cheese because they don't come standard with the fajitas. Their sweet tea is not very sweet at all. It's just enough so the tea isn't overly bitter but we couldn't actually taste any sweetness in it. They have fantastic military discount. Wait time was accurate (45 minutes). We will be returning for sure.

I grew up in a Mexican household and was forced by inlaws and friends to eat at various Mexican restaurants, always ending with disappoinment. I can honestly say, hands down, 100%, this is the best Mexican Restaurant I have ever eaten at in my entire life! Going to be making it a new tradition for Friday nights. Great margaritas, great food, homemade tortillas, what more can I say? I'm in love.
